We’ve Got Groups!

As of July 4th, 2022, the groups system has been simplified.

This has been on our to do list for a while. As of November 20, 2018, Sacwellness now offers listings for therapy/support groups. Group listings are free for all members with a paid therapist listing and you can add as many of them as you’d like.

People searching for therapy/support groups on SacWellness will find them by selecting “groups” on the drop down menu in the site’s search bar. Doing this makes it so anything the user searches for will return only group listings that meet their search criteria.

Users can also browse through all current group listings by visiting the groups option under the “browse by” tab at the top of the screen. We will be also be adding this to the main “or browse by” section on the front page soon.

How To Create a Therapy/Process Group Listing

After first signing up for an account and creating a therapist listing, you can create a group listing by following these 3 steps:

1After logging into your account you should be taken back to the front page. From here, click on the “add Listing” button in the top right corner.

2This will take you to to the following page, where you will want to click the “continue” button at the bottom of the column on the right that says “Therapy/Process Group Listing”

3Selecting this option will take you to the same listing submission page that you used to create your therapist listing. From here on you just need to select the “groups” option from the first drop down menu and then fill out the rest of the form just like you did with your therapist listing.

And that’s it! You’ve created a group listing!

We are currently working on some coding that will make your groups appear at the bottom of your therapist listing. You can see an idea of how this will look in the image below. We should have this Rolled out by the 12/6/18.
