Currently Active Scams Targeting Therapists

Unfortunately, part of being a therapist is dealing with potential scams that show up in your email or voicemail box :-(. As a therapist myself I often run into these scams. As the creator of SacWellness.com, a website for mental health resources in the greater Sacramento area, I like to write up descriptions of the scams I come across so I can pass them on to my colleagues and hopefully spare people some pain and suffering.

After writing up several of these, I decided it would be a good idea to create one page to house all of them so that people can more easily see any scams that might be going around.

The following is an ongoing collection of scams targeting therapists that I have encountered here in the greater Sacramento area in California.

If you’ve been exposed to a scam targeting therapists that you don’t see on this list, please feel free to reach out to me and let me know so I can share it with the community. Thank you for checking out this page and please share with others ^_^.
